Short version: Foundry is a mentoring app that helps you explore skilled careers, schools, and training programs. It gives you honest information and guidance, but it is not professional, legal, or financial advice, and it does not guarantee any outcome. Use it as one helpful voice among many. You must be 16 or older to use it.
By downloading or using Foundry ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Postmark Digital ("we," "us"), the maker of Foundry.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Foundry. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
Foundry is a mentor and an information tool. It surfaces career directions, schools, training programs, and financial context, and it aims to be honest about ranges and trade-offs rather than making promises. It is not a substitute for a professional counselor, and it is not legal, financial, medical, or admissions advice. Earnings figures, program rankings, completion and licensure rates, and similar information are estimates drawn from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Decisions about your education, career, or money are yours; verify anything important before you rely on it, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate. We do not guarantee any job, admission, salary, or other outcome.
You are responsible for keeping access to your account (through Sign in with Apple or your email) secure, and for the activity under it. Please give accurate information when you sign in.
Use Foundry for its intended purpose. Do not misuse the app, attempt to break or probe its security, interfere with its operation, or use it to harm others. Do not use Foundry to submit content that is unlawful or that violates someone else's rights.
You keep ownership of what you share with the mentor. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide Foundry to you — to run the mentor, remember your progress, and show a trusted adult only what you choose to share. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Foundry lets you share parts of your profile with adults you choose. You control this entirely, per person and per category, and you can change or revoke it at any time. You are responsible for who you choose to add.
Foundry offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Foundry+") that unlocks the full experience. Pricing is shown in the app. A subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Any free-trial period, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Purchases are also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
Some students unlock Foundry with a one-time code provided by their school or district. A code unlocks a single account for the stated term and cannot be reused once redeemed.
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app over time. We aim to keep Foundry available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the information in the app is complete, accurate, or suitable for your particular situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Postmark Digital will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for decisions you make based on information it provides. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using Foundry at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated. You can request deletion of your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
